Project 51 Productions Ltd. is proud to announce that it has acquired the worldwide animation and related rights to the classic video game series “Castlevania” from Konami Digital Entertainment. Castlevania is one of the most popular video game series in history, selling over 20,000,000 games since its introduction 20 years ago. Representing Project 51 in the deal were Rick Privman and Yumiko Miyano from JEA and Eric Gardner from Panacea Entertainment.

The first project planned is an animated movie based on the classic game from the series, Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse. Award winning writer Warren Ellis is writing the script and Eisner Award winning artist James Jean is set to provide art direction.
